PHELPS, Ky. — A Pike County man is facing felony charges for allegedly causing trouble at his former residence on a couple of occasions. Back in April, Ralph Thomas, 33, of Phelps, allegedly damaged a door and broke a window at the home. The arrest warrant notes he once lived in the rental property but had to leave due to pending court cases. Although a charge of criminal mischief was filed following that incident, police had never been able to arrest him. HAGER HILL, Ky. — The parents of three small children were arrested Monday evening, after one of the children tested positive for drugs. Police were called to a residence on Jenny’s Creek Road, after social workers obtained paperwork to have the children removed from the home, after the youngest child, a 2-year-old, tested positive for a “lethal amount” of meth, as well as lesser amounts of cocaine and amphetamine.
